Mr Glen Hingston has been in the building industry since 1994, starting in Tairawhiti, Gisborne. He has a residential and commercial building background and has worked on housing and multilevel commercial projects. For the Last 18 Years, Mr Glen has worked in the Council as a building compliance/ enforcement officer and building inspection surveyor including team leader. Jack JIA is a licensed carpenter and Registered Master Builder who serves as the Director of Harmony World Building Ltd.In 2022, he was awarded the title of Justice of the Peace by the New Zealand government for his services to the construction industry and its workforce. In 2005, he was appointed as a special researcher at the China Academy of Management Science and participated in a scientist forum at the Great Hall of the People as a young scientist in the same year. Since funding Harmony World Building Ltd, Jia has completed various construction projects, including five-star hotels, large shopping malls, apartment buildings, schools, luxury homes, and townhouses. Alongside his construction work, he promotes and develops traditional Chinese culture, establishes harmonious values, and fosters cultural exchanges between China and New Zealand. In 2019, he was elected Secretary-General of the New Zealand Builders Association.
